Egypt, the timeless land of the pharaohs, bridges a history stretching back thousands of years with a vibrant present. Thanks to the life-giving Nile, civilisation has flourished here for millennia, shaping the culture and identity of the people who have lived along its banks.

Today, visitors are drawn primarily by the extraordinary monuments of ancient Egypt. First and foremost are the monumental pyramids, including the three Great Pyramids of Giza. Right next to them stands the equally impressive Grand Egyptian Museum, with its magnificent collection of Tutankhamun’s treasures. A few hundred miles to the south, near the city of Luxor, lies the burial ground of the pharaohs – the majestic and mysterious Valley of the Kings.

We invite you to explore all three with our original audio guides to Egypt, available in English (and many more languages!). You can listen to them before you set off, while exploring independently, or as a complement to a guided tour.
